Item Name
7ft x 5ft Oval table on 2 square baluster supports together with 8 Panel back side chairs
Details This real beauty of a dining table would sit well in a large country kitchen or a dedicated dining room. At 7ft long by 5ft wide it is perfect for sociable gatherings without isolating one end from the other, as can be experienced on the more conventional rectangular shape. The top is supported on two massive square balusters connected by an equally substantial stretcher. The top comes with a protective cover made especially for the shape. The 8 traditionally mortise, tenon and peg constructed panel back dining chairs are in a provincial style that dates from about 1720. The expensive seat fabric is from Watts of Westminster in a highly appropriate "Gothic" design. A remarkable package at a fraction of its original cost.
